Intro
timline reflection (01-C): August 31,2012
1.
In my timeline I think that I used rhythm really well because it
all flowed together
2.
I think that I could have put more detail into my drawings, im
not a very good artist so I started out simple.
3.
My theme/unity was about my life. I have a basketball to
represent my favorite sport, a house to represent where I want to live when I
grow up, and a dollar bill to show that I want to have a successful job when I
become an adult.
4.
I tried to use every color I could think of, but my timeline
mainly consists of brighter colors, because it put me and everybody else in a
happy mood. I used less dark colors.
5.
I used a series of black shades to kind of fade into the next
slide, I feel like it helped the rhythm and it stayed consistent throughout the
whole timeline. I used it because I felt like it was easy for the eye to keep up
with and understand.
6.
I learned that in my next upcoming projects I can use rhythm,
color, and shades to make my projects more eye catching. I liked using colored
pencil because it is very clean and looks pretty too. I also realized we have
rhythm in a lot of things in life like walking, talking, listening to music, and
even our heartbeat. That is as close to relating to life as it gets.
7.
I drew one event at
a time, and I had it planned the whole time. I figured it would be a lot easier
to stay on task and get it done faster. I can’t just jump around on a project
because I get distracted easily.
8.
I feel like this is definetly a worthwhile project, it’s a good
way to get to know everybody in the class, and a chance for kids to reflect on
what they have done in their lives. I think you should allow them to use other
tools like markers and crayons because that way they can make things more bold
than others, and it will be more of an eye catcher, because things will pop
more.
